I have had the pleasure of running a number of workshops over the past few months over Zoom.
And they have been a pleasure! Every single one has had such a lovely bunch of people from all over the UK taking part.
From private groups to birthday parties to the ones I advertise on my FB page, I have really enjoyed getting to know the lovely, friendly people who have taken part.
Thank you!
In running the Zoom workshops my aim is to teach you a new skill, give you confidence to design your piece - either following a template or from your own imagination and to create a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
I go through safety points, teach you about the different contents of your kit, go through design options and give lots of hints and tips on the way.
I use two cameras - one on a tripod looking at my hands and the piece I am making and one on me.
From my point of view, I enjoy trying to work out what you are all doing! as well working with your own ideas.
I tend to state workshops last an hour but I am always happy to keep the workshop open until everyone is at a point where they are happy and confident with their piece.
I do not restrict everyone to producing an identical piece, instead encouraging each individual to make their own design, which you can then keep or gift!
What do you get?
You book on to a workshop via my website (or contact me to discuss private group bookings). When you book, this triggers me to send out a kit to you. This contains everything you need PLUS some extra bits for the workshop. I will also email joining instructions to you 48 hours before the course. These will contain Zoom access instructions plus any other points.
The sooner you book before a course, the sooner I can send out the kit. I close course bookings a week beforehand to ensure all kits arrive on time.
My next open Zoom workshop is Saturday 12 September at 10am. I will be discussing a number of design ideas for making your own trinket/soap dish as well as some hints and tips for making your dish design perfect.
Do come if you can and spend some time in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, learning a new skill and creating your own masterpiece!
